A sales coordinator primarily assists the sales team, focusing mostly on managing schedules and the distribution of any sales documentation. Therefore, sales coordinator must also be able to work closely with the sales team to assess the progress of the department and develop sales strategy accordingly.
Responsibilities
* Assists the sales team, focusing mostly on managing schedules and the distribution of any sales documentation.
* Prepares and then follows up on only sales quotations and tenders made for clients, negotiating terms with the client a cost best suited for them.
* Writes up accurate and grammatically correct sales correspondence.
* Manages all the sales related activity of the company.
* Efficiently responds to any online or telephone queries in a calm and friendly manner.
* Liaises between other departments and the client to provide the service most suitable to the client’s needs, cost and time restraints.
* Makes follow up calls to confirm sakes orders or delivery dates.
* Produce reports on progress within the department and outline any developed strategies to improve.
* Perform other related duties as required from higher management.
